
- Date & Venue The G20 Seoul Speakers' Consultation will held from May 18 through 20, 2011 at the Rotunda Hall, located in the Main Building of the Korean National Assembly. - Participants The participants to the Seoul Consultation will include speakers of unicameral and both speakers of bicameral legislatures of countries invited to the G20 Seoul Summit(G20 countries and five non-G20 countries), and the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union(IPU), given this is an international conference of parliaments. Additional countries or international organization may be invited if deemed necessary by the host parliament. The host parliament will provide accommodations, meals and transportation for up to three persons of each delegation for four days and three nights. - Invited Countries G20 countries(19 countries): Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China*, European(EP), France, Germany, India, Indonesia*, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia*, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States Non-G20 countries(5 countries): Spain(customary invitation), Ethiopia(NEPAD Chair), Singapore*(3G Chair), Equator Guinea(AU Chair), Algeria(special invitation) *Countries with unicameral parliaments - Agenda The agenda of the Seoul Consultation has been selected in due consideration of the Seoul Summit, major inter-parliamentary conferences, issues of interest of speakers of major countries and important global issues. - Preliminary Program ![]() Link: http://seoulspeakers.assembly.go.kr/english/main.html |
